On Monday, 30th October our eCDR-PRO (electronic Controlled Drugs Register) will be unavailable between 14:00 and 15:00 to apply a number of fixes and an enhancement.

What colleagues need to know:

• Wards and clinical areas that use eCDR will need to revert to their paper CD Registers during this planned downtime
• The downtime process will be shared with all ward and area managers via email prior to the date, for information and printing
• Please share the information with colleagues, so that they are aware and prepared in advance of the date

Here's what will change:

• Fix to change units of CDs requested, to include bag and mmol
• Remove the confirm button. Signing / witnessing will now complete activities
• Fix to ensure TTOs for patients own go to the ‘Patients Own’ register and not ‘Current Stock’ register
• Fix to allow duplicate CD in same location for both ‘Patients Own’ and General Stock
• Fix for CDs with safe custody “no” to end process after in-transit state
• Fix to remove items from stock if they are zero balance for over a week

As an enhancement, a red alert icon will also be added for outstanding Anaesthetist actions awaiting signature.
