The events in Gaza and Israel will be distressing for many colleagues, and our thoughts are with everyone affected.
These events are taking place thousands of miles away, but we know there are colleagues from all over the world working in our hospitals, and our patients and their relatives will be affected as well.
All our colleagues have access to a free 24/7, 365 Employee Assistance Programme, through an organisation called Care first. Colleagues can access wellbeing support at any time, every day. Care first not only provide counselling, but information and advice on physical wellbeing, financial and legal issues, too.
There are various ways to contact them:
Using their online portal: https://carefirst-lifestyle.co.uk/
User name cht and password cht4321 (the same for all colleagues)
Or call: 0800 174319
The Wellbeing Team are also available for colleagues who want to seek advice, with a Friendly Ear service and more. Email wellbeing@cht.nhs.uk
All our colleague support can be found on the intranet https://intranet.cht.nhs.uk/workforce-organisational-development/colleague-wellbeing
