ED Admin Assistant, Ang Hayward, sadly died earlier this month - and colleagues have paid tribute to their "go-to girl".

Ang started working at CHFT and had a long career supporting the Medical division. She spent her final eight years working in CRH ED, where she will be greatly missed.

Ang was a devoted Halifax Town supporter, and even married her husband, Paul, in the club's kit (pictured, centre). She leaves behind their beloved dog, Marley.  

Matron, Chloe Gough, has fond memories of working with Ang. She said: "Ang was feisty - she kept us all in line!

"I know it's a cliché to say that she went above and beyond, but she absolutely did. She never said no and she was our go-to girl. She regularly used to come in at 5am when her shift didn't start until 8am. She really was a tinker!

"She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace."

Ang's funeral will be held at Park Wood Crematorium on 7th November 2023 at 12pm. Colleagues are invited to come and pay their respects. Colleagues who knew Ang are also invited to celebrate her life after the service at The Shay Football Stadium, Halifax.
