This week our teams have been marking Baby Loss Awareness Week, with information stands and a tree of remembrance in the main entrance at CRH and HRI. Colleagues have also raised more than £1,200 for the 4Louis baby loss charity through a cake sale and raffle and our main entrances at both hospitals were lit up pink and blue.

Yesterday saw the Global Wave of Light remembrance event at 7pm. Our maternity colleagues wrote a very touching social media post, saying: "Tonight we light our candles to remember all the babies we have carried but never held, held but could not take home, and those who transitioned to angels from our arms. They live on in our hearts and minds, never forgotten, always loved."
