Here's a first glimpse at the finalists in our new Driving Digital Innovation and Change category for this year’s CHuFT Awards, taking place on Thursday, 2nd November at The Arches, Dean Clough.
They’re the eCDR Project Team, Endoscopy Team, Radiology AI Team, Performance Information Lead Oliver Hutchinson and the ePMA Team.
The brand-new category celebrates a team or colleague who has delivered digital change or digital innovation through digital and or using data.
Oliver said: "I am very humbled to be nominated in this new category for the CHuFT awards. It was a surprise in the best way!
"Digital innovation and change is something I am very passionate about and to be associated with this Award is very exciting for me. The new ways we have developed for processes throughout the planned access directorate this year have been a pleasure to be involved in, so a big thank you to the outpatient and RTT validation teams. And a big thank you to the whole BI and THIS teams who I believe embody digital innovation and change everyday."
And Pharmacist, Anita Hill, said about the nomination for the eCDR Project Team: "The Team are thrilled to have been nominated. It’s been an interesting project working with system designers and learning a whole new language.
"It's not been the easy quick fix to develop that we first thought. During the journey we had to win the hearts and minds of users and overcome a few obstacles, but in true CHFT style we have worked together to get results”.
EPR Lead Pharmacy Technician, James Harris said: "The ePMA Team are thrilled to be nominated for this first-of-type functionality that leverages structured data (weight and height) in our EPR system to suggest the correct gentamicin dose in line with our antibiotics policy.
"This was a truly collaborative project embodying the Trust’s value Working Together To Get Results, with input from the Antimicrobials Stewardship Teams and other clinicians shaping the final solution".
Endoscopy Clinical Operations Manager, Jo Priston said: "The Endoscopy team are thrilled to be finalists in this category. It reflects the hard work involved by all the team in improving patient experience from a digital perspective."
We wish all our finalists well at the Awards.
And this year we'll be streaming the ceremony over MS Teams - more on that very soon.
