The NHS is working in partnership with the British Islamic Medical Association to deliver four webinars on how Ramadan can affect people with a serious mental illness.
The first webinar is taking place on Tuesday 10 October, from 12pm - 1pm on Microsoft Teams. It will look at why Ramadan is the most sacred month in Islamic culture, and the possible effects it can have on people with serious mental illness. The webinar is open to clinicians and support staff in primary and secondary care, voluntary and community sector organisations, staff in integrated care boards, and members of the public.
