Since September, every Wednesday, Consultant Neurologist, Dr Marc Randall, has been joining us from Leeds Teaching Hospitals to support our Neurology Service.

Operations Manager, Samantha Croll, said: “It is an absolute pleasure to work with Dr Randall. He is already having such a positive effect on our neurology patients and our colleagues.”

The West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts (WYAAT) supports collaboration across hospitals in West Yorkshire and Harrogate to deliver care and services to patients in the region.

Deputy Director of Operations, Chris Roberts, said: “As a Neurology Service and Trust, we are really proud to be the first to pilot this way of working across WYAAT in collaboration with Leeds and pave the way for other Trusts."

Robert Rathbone, Leeds Teaching Hospitals General Manager, added: “ This is a really positive development for both our Trusts, and from this we hope to strengthen our partnership to create the best possible experience for Neurology patients in WYAAT.”
