We’re celebrating National Inclusion Week, with a range of activities led by our inclusion staff networks – plus a new pledge launch.

Our Women's Voices Network will be using this week to refresh and get feedback on how colleagues see it developing over the coming year. Feedback will be launched on Tuesday via a Microsoft Form and will run for a month.

Wednesday will focus on allyship, and our new ‘Inclusion Ally’ pledge is signed for the first time. We’re aiming to get 100 Inclusion Allies pledged before the end of the week – if you’re interested in signing, please contact: Carys.Bentley@cht.nhs.uk

On Thursday there will be a tea party to show appreciation for our inclusion staff networks. We will be also using this time to look ahead and plan the next year of inclusion activities.

Friday is a day of education and celebration. The Black History Month (BHM) flag will be raised at 11am at HRI, in anticipation of BHM which runs throughout October. In the evening, colleagues will play a five-a-side football match in Halifax. If you’re not playing, why not come and support your department from the side-lines?
