The 2023 NHS Staff Survey launches next week.

This year’s staff survey is an opportunity to show how proud you are to work at CHFT and rightfully celebrate all your team’s hard work. It’s also an opportunity to shout out about further improvements we can collectively make to your working life.

Following colleague feedback in last year's National Staff Survey, we have continued to embed our values and behaviours by introducing and improving practices that you told us were important to you.

We have focused our efforts on improving our leadership and management development offer, revisited our health and wellbeing offer and most importantly, enjoyed celebrating #TeamCHFT’s team ethic because we know that you value each other as much as you value caring for our patients.

We have developed new learning opportunities for all colleagues, regardless of grade, role or specialty and we have also introduced tools, tips and techniques for people managers via our new Management Fundamentals programme.

We continue to grow our own talent by supporting new career pathways and apprenticeships, as well as increasing opportunities for members of our communities to work and volunteer at CHFT.

We’ve also improved our wellbeing offer, with the introduction of an in-house psychology team and an in house physiotherapist, as well as implementing support for colleagues experiencing the menopause.

Our #TeamCHFT video has now had thousands of hits across our social media channels – it features some of our brilliant colleagues from across CHFT doing what they do best – and captures what it feels like to work here at CHFT. These developments have only been possible with your feedback and input.
