CHFT Maternity colleagues have co-developed a brand new 'Speak with a midwife' campaign, across West Yorkshire, which encourages pregnant women to book in with a midwife before ten weeks of pregnancy.  

Pregnant women across West Yorkshire and Harrogate are being urged to speak to a midwife as soon as they find out they’re pregnant, as part of a new campaign across the area that aims to ensure they get the care they need as early as possible.

Gemma Puckett, Director of Midwifery and Women’s Services, said: "We know how important it is to speak to a midwife as early as possibly in pregnancy, so we are very excited to be working with our colleagues across West Yorkshire and Harrogate to create this campaign to support women, birthing people, and their families to access the care they need."
