Here’s our Patient Experience lead, Nicola Greaves and Speech and Language Therapy Assistant and Carers Coordinator, Jo Smith.
They’ve been presented with a certificate of appreciation for keeping the momentum behind our Keep Carers Caring campaign, launched in January, going great guns.
Associate Director of Nursing for Medicine and John’s Campaign ambassador, David Britton, said: “Jo and Nicola have received the certificates and pin badges due to their daily work and continued support for the campaign.
“They truly live and breathe this and there are so many examples when they have gone over and above to support people in difficult situations.
“I can honestly say that Keep Carers Caring wouldn’t be in the place it is today without both of them.”
Nicola said: “It is so lovely to be recognised by the Trust for work that has gone into designing and delivering such a successful way of working.
“Since the launch in January, more than 700 carers have been supported across our hospitals. I am really proud of what we have achieved.”
Jo added: "It's a huge achievement and we're both so very proud. It's recognition for the work we've both put in to the Keep Carers Caring movement.
"It's warmed our hearts at how we've been welcomed by ward staff who have embraced the campaign.”
