As part of the work on the new A&E at HRI, we have installed new electric vehicle charging points for visitors and are also taking the opportunity to upgrade the Acre Mills points.

These new 22kWh chargers are faster, and include a much more robust maintenance programme. In line with other local trusts, we will start charging for their use, at a rate of £0.45 per kWh. 

The week-long upgrade works will start on Tuesday 12th September, and there will be no access to EV charging on site until 18th September whilst works are undertaken. We ask that colleagues with electric vehicles to please make alternative arrangements for charging for the duration of the works.
