Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Charity has been shortlisted for Charity of the Year in the Calderdale Community Spirit Awards.

The shortlisted nomination focused on the Charity's contribution to kit out the newly-opened Rainbow Community Hub in Elland, and how donations have made a difference to families within the Calderdale area.

The Charity's Communications and Marketing Assistant, Emily Overend, said: "I feel honoured that the CHFT Charity is a finalist. We work so hard, and even though we are a small charity, we make a huge difference to all our patients and colleagues."

Katie Booth, Clinical Nurse Manager at the Rainbow Community Hub, said: "Our CHFT Charity absolutely deserves to be a finalist in the Charity of the Year in the Calderdale Community Spirit Awards. What the Charity and its supporters do to enhance our facilities is immeasurable.

"We have been so lucky at Rainbow Child Development Service to have their support. They have provided us with so much to ensure our families have the best experience they can."

The winner will be announced on Thursday 23rd November. Watch this space!
