We are changing to Tinzaparin for prophylaxis and treatment of VTE on Wednesday 22 March. Ahead of the change there will be plenty of communications through the Pharmacy Team as well as briefing sessions on Teams, starting a week today.

Updated dose and preparation/administration charts will be on wards and on the Intranet.  Please also attend a training session.

Training sessions:

• Between Monday 27th February and Friday 3rd March: Daily afternoon sessions 2–2.30pm. Tuesday and Thursday morning slots 11 – 11.30am
• Between Monday 6th March and Friday 10th March: Afternoon sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 2-2.30pm
• Between Monday 13th March and Friday 17th March: Afternoon sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 2-2.30pm

Please ask your ward manager for the Teams invite that suits you.
