Our Race Equality Network (REN) has two new co-chairs - and they've been out and about talking to colleagues raising awareness and getting colleagues to sign their pledges in support of race equality at CHFT.

Claims Administrator, Polly Shunje, pictured front centre in the scarf, and Quality Improvement Lead, Deehan Mair, are our new co-chairs of the wider network. Deputy Medical Director and Vascular Consultant, Neeraj Bhasin, is the Chair of the Steering Group.

Polly is pictured with Race and Inclusion Engagement Partner, Tegan Joseph, and some of our new international nurses at a recent walk-round.

One of the network aims is to contribute to creating an inclusive environment for all. For this to happen, the network would like to hear from as many of our colleagues as possible. The network is a safe place to speak up, share your thoughts and advocate for change. Everyone is welcome, whether you identify with the group or want to join as an ally – your voice and support are important.

Read more about the network and how to get involved, as a group member or ally on the REN intranet page.
