It'll soon be time for the next NHS Staff Survey - so it's an opportunity to start sharing some of the great stuff happening at CHFT as a result of what colleagues told us last year.

Colleague feedback led to the creation of The Staff Psychology Service, which is headed up by Clinical Psychologist, Dr Rebecca Yeates, pictured.

The new in-house service aims to provide both individual colleagues and teams access to brief psychological assessment and consultation. This will in turn better support the organisation and our colleagues to maintain healthy and effective employment.

Common requests for support include helping our colleagues both respond to, and cope with challenging clinical dynamics and demands, conflict in teams and distress arising from critical clinical incidents.

The service is open to all colleagues. Due to the size of the service all enquiries are triaged to determine if alternative support can be accessed by larger services.
