CHFT’s Pride Month has officially started – and there are lots of ways colleagues can get involved.

Colleague Engagement Advisor, Carys Bentley, left, said: “Officially, LGBTQ+ Pride is always held in June, but we had so many other amazing events happening at CHFT that we decided to move it to August.

“So, Happy Pride! We kicked-off our celebrations at Happy Valley Pride in Hebden Bridge, so if you came along, we hope you enjoyed seeing us in CHFT’s information tent.

"We’ve lots planned across the month – so we all hope to see you at some point."

Carys was joined by Pride Chair, Rachel Newburn plus Michelle Ward, second left, from our Programme Lead for Apprenticeships and Work Experience and Lindsay Short, right from our Sexual Health Team.

Why not get involved in our events? Prizes on offer.

If you’d like to celebrate Pride in your own teams, why not create a Pride display in your area and send a photo to Pride@cht.nhs.uk? There will be a prize for the best display!
