Outpatient Manager Wendy Hewitt's words of wisdom adorn the Plaster Room at HRI, as part of a project to brighten up some of the public spaces in the department.

Wendy said: “We began by wanting to brighten up the space for our patients and the idea grew from there.

“We thought it would be a great idea to showcase what we do in the department, as well as making it a visual way of signposting patients to the Plaster Room.

“The rainbows follow the same theme as those in the Rainbow Community Hub in Elland.

“Huge thanks to our Charity for funding the work – it’s just brilliant.”
