Chief Nurse Information Officer (CNIO), Louise Croxall, has been voted in as just one of 12 representatives nationally to the CNIO Network Advisory Panel, which is part of the national Digital Health Network.

The panel is dedicated to promoting the development of current and future digital nursing, midwifery and allied healthcare professionals.

As part of her role, Louise will be able to influence national agenda on digital transformation, and support future digital nurses through mentoring programs.

She said: “I am incredibly proud to be elected and can’t wait to get started, flying the flag for CHFT and influencing how the national digital nursing agenda will move forward. Ultimately, digital transformation can improve services and experience for our colleagues, patients, relatives and carers.

“I’m looking forward to meeting fellow CNIOs from across the country, learning from best practices and bringing that knowledge back to develop new working ways for CHFT. But we also have so much to share from CHFT and I know that others will be able to learn from us, too.

“I will also be involved in mentoring new digital nurses and supporting them through their digital journey.

“Thank you to everyone at CHFT who voted for me.”
