Did you know that if we cut our energy use across the Trust by just 1%, we could see financial savings of over £45,000?  It's just one snippet of information you can find out during Yorkshire's first-ever Sustainability Week.

It's also a great opportunity to think how we can all make changes to reduce our environmental impact, both at home and in work. There are some exciting activities lined up that colleagues can get involved in.

A ‘Nominate your Green Heroes’ competition will run until the end of this week, and it's a chance to celebrate our green champions . If you work with a switch-off star, recycling warrior or a green-fingered guru, you can nominate them here. There is a £50 voucher prize and sweet treats for the nominator’s department.

There will also be a stand showcasing our achievements and progress towards the Trust's green goals, as well as some surprising sustainability facts. Don’t forget to pick up your free reusable CHFT water bottle! Come and see us on the following days:

• Wednesday, 5th July between 9am and 11am at HRI.
• Friday, 7th July between 9am and 11am at CRH.
