Colleagues on ward 17 completed a bake sale recently to raise funds for a new ice machine after theirs broke. 

Ward Manager, Lorna Hewitt, said: “Our patients ask for ice all the time, so losing the machine has a big impact on them.

“Our colleagues pitched in, baking goodies and donating lots of buns/cakes to raise the funds, so I personally want to thank everyone for coming together. Many came in on their days off to help make the bake sale a success. 

“And finally, thank you to those who supported the bake sale by buying any treats.”
