On Saturday, CHFT's Divisional Matron - Community, Sarah Jayne Wilson, completed Happy Days UK's Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

She scaled Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres) in a single day to raise money for our homeless and disadvantaged clients.

Sarah has run a clinic at The Gathering Place to aid access to healthcare twice a week for the last three years, along with colleague, Jayne Duffy. Sarah then became a Trustee at Happy Days in October last year. She is making a huge difference for the most vulnerable people in Calderdale every day.

She said: "What a challenge! Much harder than I ever expected, but what an amazing bunch of people! I feel incredibly proud and stiff!

"The last six miles nearly killed me, so we did the cha-cha slide! The G&T at the end was like bliss."

The link to sponsor Sarah is below. At the time of writing, she's almost at her target of £500, so please give if you can!
