Our Porter David Charlesworth, who once thought he’d never run again after a stroke has completed a charity marathon from HRI to Old Trafford.

He was supported by his colleagues Dave Brierley, Kevin Pollard and Mark Littlewood who stayed with him until the half way point.

It took him five hours and all the proceeds will go towards a bladder scanner for Ward 14. And it’s all the more amazing as he had a stroke and lost the sight in one eye in 2021.

He’s pictured at HRI, on the run then at the Theatre of Dreams – shirtless! Well done Dave
