Mental Capacity Act Policy

• Amendments following AGNI [2026] UKSC 16, the Supreme Court overruled the 2014 decision in P v Cheshire West [2014] UKSC 19.

Prevent Policy

• Formal Review to incorporate learning from Southport Enquiry, updated risk indicators, definitions of extremism and reinforce Notice / Check / Share

Confidentiality Group Policy

• Amended page 15, "Protecting Information", to strengthen guidance on preventing unauthorised or inappropriate access to records.
• Addition of use of recording devices, wearable technology and smart glasses section.
