Congratulations to our Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner, Rachel Wood, who retires this week after an incredible 40-year career in the department.

Head of Occupational Health, Pam Wood, said: "Rachel's journey with CHFT began way back in 1981 when she started her nurse training at Huddersfield. After qualifying as a nurse, she went on to complete her midwifery training before joining Occupational Health in September 1986. 

"Throughout her 40 years in Occupational Health she has been a valued and trusted member of the team, known for her compassion, professionalism and she has no doubt supported countless colleagues, and has been a source of guidance and friendship to many of our team, both past and present.

"She will be greatly missed, not only for her expertise and experience, but also for the warmth and kindness she has brought to the team."
