Our construction partner, Laing O’Rourke, will be offering apprenticeship advice sessions in December for CHFT colleagues who may know someone interested in getting started in a construction career through an apprenticeship route.

Parents, relatives and friends are invited to come along to one of the two sessions to hear about apprenticeships and opportunities at one of the largest construction companies in the UK. You will get specialist advice and insider knowledge of what to expect from an apprenticeship in the construction industry – covering both professional and trade apprenticeships. This first set of sessions will cover professional apprenticeships which are open to anyone over the age of 18. There will be further sessions in the new year for trades apprenticeships which are open to anyone over the age of 16.

At the sessions, advice stalls will be being run by Laing O'Rourke where parents and potential applicants can have a chat with relevant professionals to gain a clearer understanding of suitable apprenticeship routes, where to find opportunities, what a strong application looks like and what the next steps are.

The sessions will be taking place at HRI and CRH in December. There is no need to book, just drop in when is handy for you, friends or family members:
