A very happy retirement to Staff Nurse, Janet Lloyd, who has retired after 20 years working in our neonatal department.

Janet qualified as a staff Nurse in 1982 and worked on a surgical ward in Warrington for two years before beginning her paediatric training in Birmingham. She dedicated a large portion of her career to working within cardiac paediatric ICU before moving into neonatal care.

Clinical Nurse Manager for Neonatal ICU, Jo-Anne Cornelly, said: "Janet has dedicated many years of service to nursing and neonatal care, touching the lives of countless babies, families, and colleagues throughout her career. She has been an incredibly respected and valued member of our team, and her retirement marks the end of an outstanding chapter in the history of our unit."
