Our Health Informatics Team are launching LEARNthis next Wednesday 30 September. The system will replace the current Digital Learning System (DLS) and CHFT Training booking System.

LEARNthis is a much more intuitive system, and learners will be able to pause courses, so there will be no need to start afresh if they exit their training.

Feedback from User Acceptance Testing has been positive, with testers saying that the system is very user friendly and easy to follow. 

The system is a like-for-like replacement of the current clinical systems training such as EPR, Nervecentre, BloodTrack. It does not replace ESR, so colleagues should continue to use ESR as they do now.

Key information and where to find guidance:

• All colleagues who have used the current DLS system over the past 12 months will have their account added to LEARNthis
• If you are part way through a DLS training module, please continue to complete it on DLS
• Managers will be able to track colleagues who have used DLS within the past 12 months and new colleagues who join their team from Wednesday 30th September
• Only managers with colleagues actively doing clinical training will get LEARNthis accounts. Don’t be alarmed if you are unable to log in yet. Your account will be created once you have colleagues in the team who need to compete their clinical training
• The current CHFT Training Booking System will be decommissioned, and all training bookings will be made via LEARNthis
• You will be able to access LEARNthis via a handy icon in the non-clinical apps folder on your desktop – or via the LEARNthis intranet page
