There are some minor changes happening in the A&E car park at CRH from this coming Thursday, 24th September.

The On Call spaces which are currently located next to the Old Learning Centre will be marked for general use. This is because once the new Multi-Storey Car Park opens, there will no longer be On Call spaces at CRH, which is the same as at HRI.

The Blue Light route to A&E will also be changed, which means that ambulances will now turn directly right to the A&E department, past the Old Learning Centre, rather than continuing straight on.

There will also be limited parking in the A&E car park, which will allow our construction partner, Laing O’Rourke, to prepare the area for construction. At the same time some spaces in the Women and Children’s car park will be reopened so there will not be a change in the number of spaces available.

Parking spaces in the A&E car park and the Women and Children’s car park continue to be for patients and their visitors only.
