Virgin Media will finish their upgrade to our routers and equipment covering HRI and community sites tomorrow, Tuesday 15th September at 18.30.  This equipment has a link with Cerner HSRP between CRH-HRI.

HRI  

We do not anticipate major disruption during the upgrade, which is being performed outside of core clinic hours.  It will begin at 18.30 and last no more than two hours.

CRH

We do not anticipate major disruption during the upgrade, which is being performed outside of core clinic hours.  It will begin at 18.30 and last no more than two hours.

Community locations 

We do not anticipate major disruption during the planned upgrade window which will also begin at 18.30 and last no more than two hours. There is a small risk of temporary disruption to connectivity with hospital systems which may impact access to clinical systems from community sites. 

To minimise any impact:  

• The upgrade is being carried out outside of core clinic hours.   
• If the switchover results in any unexpected issues for longer than 30 minutes, we will immediately revert to our existing equipment. 
• Technical teams and suppliers will be on-site to provide real-time support.
