After Thursday, 1st October 2026, Microsoft Publisher will no longer be included with Microsoft 365. You will no longer be able to open or edit Publisher (.pub) files using Publisher.

Microsoft periodically retires products and features and has decided to no longer support Publisher, as you can do the same functions in Word and PowerPoint.

If you do use Publisher files, please make sure these are saved as a Word or PowerPoint document so you can access it in future.
