Our Chair, Helen Hirst, hosted an appreciation event for our governors  thanking them for their “valuable contribution.”  

Fifteen governors attended, a mix of newly-elected governors, governors who will be leaving us next month and those who have left over the last couple of years.

Helen thanked the governors who will shortly be leaving us and also those governors who left us during the pandemic, which meant they missed a formal send-off and thank you.

Helen said: “I felt it was really important to acknowledge the valuable contribution that governors make to the work of the Trust, on an entirely voluntary basis.  I was delighted to be able to host this event to thank them personally for all that they do.  It was a great success and we will be looking at repeating it in the future.”
