Colleagues are invited to sign up for the next Frailty for Professionals virtual training programme, taking place on 22 to 23 September 2026. The two-day course is accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and offers 13 CPD credits.

Delivered by the Frailty Academy, led by Dr James Adams, Consultant Geriatrician at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, the programme is designed for health and care professionals working with older people, including doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, pharmacists and paramedics.

The course aims to build confidence in recognising, assessing and managing frailty through practical workshops, case studies and expert-led sessions. Topics include frailty awareness, frailty syndromes, ageing well and prevention, working with families and carers, ReSPECT conversations and the use of clinical tools in practice.

The Frailty Academy is an award-winning programme and winner of the HSJ Patient Safety Education and Training Award 2025.
