This year, any peer immuniser who vaccinates more than 20 colleagues will be entered into a prize draw to win one of four £50 shopping vouchers. Handy, just in time for Christmas gifts for loved ones. 

One colleague who has already signed up and completed the peer immuniser training in record time, is Ward 19 Charge Nurse,  Nigel Lockwood (pictured). Nigel said: "In the words of a famous supermarket - 'Every little helps'. Anything we can do to protect our loved ones helps. I think being on the shop floor, being given the vaccination by somebody you know can make a difference, and I'm happy to play a part in encouraging colleagues to have their vaccine."

The campaign is due to begin on Thursday, 1st October and  most registered clinical practitioners can become a peer immuniser e.g. Registered Nurses, Midwives, Physios, ODPs, Nursing Associates and Pharmacists.
