Colleagues are invited to drop in to sessions to find out what our new hospital build, and wider reconfiguration work across CRH, HRI and community are all about.
There is no need to book, colleagues are welcome to just drop in. The next sessions are:
- Thursday, 27th August - 12:00 to 13:00 at HRI (Acre Mill Room 3)
- Wednesday, 2nd September - 11:30 to 12:30 at CRH (Learning Centre, Training Room 2)
Clinical Lead Respiratory Physiotherapist, Nicola Robinson, attended a session in August, along with others from her team. Nicola said: "Being a Clinical Lead I am aware of the Reconfiguration changes and there was a lot of hearsay of what the wards could look like. So it was really interesting to see how the wards are laid out. It is a massive improvement from the current wards as we have more space to be able to work with around a patient’s bedspace. Currently it is tight with space to be able to rehab patients at bedside, especially those who are bariatric, so it was great to see this has been considered for the new build."
The team will be sharing some exclusive images of what some of the rooms and areas look like as part of the session.
