Congratulations to Community Nursing Associates (NA), Roisin Crotty, Niamh O'Grady and Shauna Morrow-Lloyd, who have successfully qualified as registered nurses. The trio have been working hard over the past 18 months and have gained plenty of experience during their studies.

Clinical Manager, Sally Akesson, said: "As their manager I am very proud of what they have achieved as it is no mean feat combining studying along with working full time at such a busy pace within the central district nursing team. They will all make amazing nurses. Well done girls!"

Speaking about what she'd say to anyone thinking of becoming a registered nurse, Shauna said: "I would encourage all NAs to consider progressing. As NAs we carry an existing wealth of knowledge and experience. The RNDA course enables development of these skills to transfer into practice and directly further improve the care we are able to deliver as well as building upon academic abilities and the opportunity to study at a higher level."
