Alongside a review of our Annual Accounts, Quality and Patient Experience will be two of the themes for this year’s Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM), which takes place on Thursday, 10th September, on the top floor of Acre Mills Outpatients.

Our Medical Director, Neeraj Bhasin and Chief Nurse, Jo Hilton, will share an overview of our recent CQC reviews, including areas of excellence, improvements already made and areas that may need additional focus.

At the AMM, our Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Transformation and Partnerships, Anna Basford, will share a look ahead at the exciting plans taking shape as part of our Foundations for our Future programme. Anna will look back at some of the key milestones, as well as what’s ahead as part of the considerable work taking place to invest in the future of hospital and community services.

Joining us ahead of the AMM at the informal showcase, will be colleagues from the Southgate Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), which opened its doors last summer, joining the CDC in Halifax in helping more of our local patients get their care closer to home. Our Head of Patient Experience, Lynsey Nicholson, will also share some of the new national standards for patient experience in elective care.

People are invited to attend the showcase on the top floor of Acre Mills Outpatients between 2pm and 3pm, with the AMM taking place between 3pm and 4.30pm.
