The second annual inter-Trust Charity football tournament takes place this Saturday, 22nd August, and 13 of our footie-loving colleagues have come together to create the Huddersfield Ballers. The team will be eager to retain the trophy after Team CHFT's victory in the inaugural tournament last year.
They’ll be competing against teams representing Airedale Hospital & Community Charity, Bradford Hospitals Charity and Better Lives Charity.
Fundraising Coordinator, Katie Stewart, said: “While we're hoping for plenty of goals and great football, we're coming together to support a fantastic cause, raise vital funds for charity and make a positive difference in our local communities.
“We're asking our friends, family, colleagues and supporters to get behind the team. Whether it's donating through our JustGiving page or cheering us on from the side lines, every contribution will help make a real difference.
“We'd love to see as many supporters as possible on the day, so do bring your family and friends along and cheer on the Huddersfield Ballers throughout the tournament. It's free entry for spectators."
