The Inpatient Therapy Team recently came together for their very own mini CHuFT Awards celebration to recognise the amazing work the team does each and every day.

Team members nominated one another across a range of categories, including Ray of Sunshine, Unsung Hero, Patient Champion and Wellbeing Wonder.

The awards were organised by Clinical Lead Physiotherapist Gemma Weatherby, who, alongside Physiotherapist Lucinda Denton and Therapy Assistant Sarah Butler, created and ran the whole event.

Inpatient Therapy Team Lead, Vicky Jackson-Furness, said: Gemma wanted to create something that captured the compassion, professionalism and positive impact the team have on patients and each other every day.

“It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate individual achievements, strengthen team spirit and say a massive thank you to the team. It was a huge success, and they have plans to repeat it every year.”
