From next Monday, 27th July, we will start carrying out work to remove the canopy above the A&E entrance at CRH. The A&E department will be open as usual throughout the work which is expected to take around six weeks. 

During this work there is some essential information that colleagues need to know:

• Patients will be asked to use the entrance which is currently marked as 'Ambulance Only'
• Signage will be up in the area to help direct people
• Some of the Ambulance Bays and Blue Light route will temporarily change 
• Parking spaces continue to be for patients and their visitors only - colleagues are continuing to patrol the site and will issue parking tickets if required.

The canopy is being removed as part of the work to get CRH ready for construction of the new hospital building.
