As we get closer to opening the new Multi-Storey Car Park at Calderdale Royal Hospital (CRH) we are asking colleagues who only work night shifts at CRH to apply for, or reactivate their permit.
This is because Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) will be in use across the site when the car park opens, and cameras will cover all areas 24/7. If you are not registered on our Nexus ANPR system, which is already in use in our Huddersfield car parks, you may receive a fine for parking.
Parking will continue to be free of charge if you only work nights. For colleagues who work other shifts, there will be no change to the cost of a permit.
Paused your permit?
If you paused your permit at any time from August 2024, please look for the email from reset.parking@cht.nhs.uk which was sent on Tuesday, 30th June and reply as soon as you can.
New to Nexus ANPR?
If you are new to using Nexus, there are two steps to applying:
- Register for a Nexus account from the Car parking permits and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) intranet page - this page has user guides and information
- Apply for a permit (you must do this as registering alone will not set you up on the system)
If you have any questions about permits, please email reset.parking@cht.nhs.uk
Further information about the new Multi-Storey Car Park can be found on the intranet.
