Northern Superchargers Women's Captain (TBA), Hollie Armitage has kindly donated some of her kit in advance of this Saturday's cricket tournament with Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust.

Hollie is the daughter of Medical Illustration Manager, Jane Armitage and came to see Deputy Medical Director, Neeraj Bhasin and his two sons, to donate the equipment. Neeraj said: “As a family we’ve watched Hollie play in the Hundred a few times!”

Jane added: "Neeraj told me he’d never known his sons to be so quiet - and could Hollie come and babysit!”

Two of Hollie's donated shirts (pictured) will be used as raffle prizes to help raise money for both hospital charities and the Cricket Asylum Foundation, in Sowerby Bridge. The event will also be catered and should be a fun-filled day whether you’re playing or observing.

The indoor cricket tournament between the two hospitals is taking place between 10am and 5pm. Some of Hollie's donations having been added to the Charity Kit Library which will be at the event to take further donations from players and spectators. The library supports under-privileged families and those who may not normally be able to take part in a sport they’d love to play.
