From Monday, 6th July, colleagues and patients will need to access the Cardiology Department at CRH using the Dermatology Department, where the services will have a shared waiting area. A map is attached to help guide you to the right entrance, signage will also be in place. 

The entrance is changing as we start building work on our new purpose-built cardiology day case unit and two new Catheter labs. It will bring our catheter labs, day case unit and Cardiology Department all in the same area of the hospital on the ground floor, improving quality of care and experience for our patients.

The Cardiology Department is open and running as usual during the work.

Building work will be carried out Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5pm. There is likely to be noise within the department from this work.

We expect the work to take around nine months. Information for patients and the public is available on the CHFT website.
