Virgin Media are carrying out some upgrades to our routers and equipment across three separate days over the coming weeks, covering CRH and community sites. 

  • The upgrades are scheduled across three days: Tuesday, 23rd June (confirmed date), Tuesday, 30th June and Tuesday, 7th July (these dates are due to be confirmed). 
  • Each upgrade will take place between 18:30 and 20:30. 

CRH 

We do not anticipate major disruption during the upgrade, which is being performed outside of core clinic hours. It will begin at 18:30 and last no more than two hours.   

Community locations 

We do not anticipate major disruption during the planned upgrade window which will also begin at 18:30 and last no more than two hours. There is a small risk of temporary disruption to connectivity with hospital systems which may impact access to clinical systems from community sites. 

To minimise any impact:  

  • The upgrade is being carried out outside of core clinic hours.   
  • If the switchover results in any unexpected issues for longer than 30 minutes, we will immediately revert to our existing equipment. 
  • Technical teams and suppliers will be on-site to provide real-time support.
