Gynaecology are teaming up with West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service for a Charity Car Wash. Drive by to see them and get your vehicle wheel-y clean this coming Saturday, 27th June, between 9:30 to 1:30pm at Huddersfield Fire Station, HD1 2JT.
The car wash is part of an ongoing 12-month programme of fundraising events to mark the 25th Anniversary of the Baby Loss Remembrance Tree.
Both firefighters and colleagues from the team will be using a lot of elbow grease to wash cars, do tyre safety checks, and there will be cakes and bakes for sale too.
Funds raised will be shared between the Early Pregnancy Loss Assessment Unit and The Fire Fighters Charity. Donations will help improve welfare facilities within the unit and provide additional support to families during incredibly difficult times. This includes helping to fund equipment that is not always available through the NHS.
So, please come along, get your car sparkling, and support two amazing causes – they’d love to see you there!
