The first BaBi baby has joined our Born and Bred in (BaBi) Calderdale and Huddersfield research study. Following a discussion with her midwife, Jo Hutchinson, mum-to-be Megan consented to the BaBi study. She has since given birth to a baby boy called Freddie, who is officially our first BaBi baby. 

This research project is being delivered at our Trust as part of the wider BaBi research network. Everyone who is having a baby in Calderdale and Huddersfield is invited to become part of the study. Participants agree to researchers joining together lots of data about you and your child so that we can look at ways to improve health, care and services through research and planning in Calderdale and Huddersfield.
