Lead Nurse Consultant, Jo Lyle, is asking people who have been affected by cancer to complete a survey gathering views on receiving cancer treatment away from hospital.  The survey is for people who been either directly or indirectly affected by cancer.

The work forms part of a wider Non-surgical Oncology (NSO) partnership programme between CHFT and The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust (MYTT). As part of the partnership, the trusts are working together to look at new ways to deliver some forms of cancer treatment away from hospital.

Jo said: "For many people, being able to receive cancer treatment closer to home can make the treatment easier to fit into their daily lives. We want to understand what works well and what could be improved, directly from those with lived experience. By sharing their views, people can help us design services that offer high quality care alongside greater comfort, choice and independence.

"We know that cancer impacts everybody, either directly or indirectly. That's why the survey is open to people who have experienced cancer themselves, and also for people who have cared for someone with cancer."

Please fill in the Microsoft Form to share your views, or share it with anyone who may be interested in shaping the future of cancer treatment across Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.
