Recording appraisals in ESR has now been made easier with a new automated process. Managers can now record an appraisal by completing a short Microsoft Form with just three key details:

• colleague name
• employee number
• appraisal date

The automated process will then update ESR for you.

With the last month of appraisal season already here, the process is set to save on average around 5 minutes per appraisal, which means colleagues can focus on other activities, or spend more focused time on the appraisal itself.

Transformation Programme Manager, Claire Sibbald, recently tried out the new process, and said: "I did this yesterday, it took me seconds, it was brilliant! I have already shared the link with three other people just this morning."
