Danny Bennett, a catering assistant at HRI, has sadly died. His close friends and colleagues, Natalie Holdsworth and Mel Robinson, have shared some touching words in his memory.

"Danny dedicated 25 years of service to the Trust, where he became a much-loved Catering Assistant and an integral part of HRI. Over those years, Danny built not only a career, but lifelong friendships and countless memories that his colleagues and friends will cherish forever. HRI won't be the same without him.

"Danny was a gentle soul with a heart full of kindness, always willing to help anyone in need. Danny was loved for his great sense of humour, his loyalty to his friends, and the warmth he brought to everyone around him.

"He loved Leeds United, music, and spending time with the people closest to him, the simple things in life meant the most to him. His laughter, friendship, and caring nature will never be forgotten.

"Our deepest condolences and love go out to his mum and family during this heartbreaking time. So from all of us, sleep soundly Danny B. You'd have hated all this fuss but what's to be expected, we loved you and we will most certainly miss you."

Danny’s wake will be held on Wednesday, 20th May at The Parish Pub from 2:00pm, where everyone is welcome to come together to celebrate his life and share memories.
