This week eCDR will integrate with Cerner, which will pull through the patient details when a patient's MRN or NHS number is entered (see image attached).

Roll-out dates:

• Theatre style registers – Wednesday, 13th May at 08:00
• All other wards and departments – Thursday, 14th May at 08:00

Updated user guides will be made available on the eCDR intranet pages.

There is no downtime needed for this change. Users will see the change when they next log in. 

This change will:

• reduce risks associated with free-typing patient details and patient duplication
• improve visibility of patient movement (transfers and discharges)
• other new features assist with CD audits and transferring patients’ own CDs
